E-Z Glider to the Mokes & Super Bowl Sunday Surfing Clinic - Meet at the Kailua Beach Boat Ramp for an 8:00 AM launch and head out to the Mokulua Islands. Surfing not required, but those so inclined will get basic surf instruction and then practice with other experienced kayak surfers. If you are more adventurous, join Rusty on a paddle (weather permitting) out to the NOAA wave buoy (another 2 miles off-shore). Everyone meets back on the Mokes for lunch. Lanikai Reefs - (Weather permitting, of course): Paddle along Lanikai Beach to Smith Point and across to Mokuluaiki and the Plane Wreck. Windbag Regatta - Maunalua Bay Boat ramp (Hawaii Kai) to Wai'alae Beach Park in Kāhala by any wind-driven means - sails, kites, umbrellas, bedsheets on sticks, old raincoats, whatever. Carpool leaves Maunalua Bay Beach Park at 8:30 AM. Race will begin at 11:00, or when the Race Director determines there is enough wind.
