E-Z Glider to the Mokes & Super Bowl Sunday Surfing Clinic - Meet at the Kailua Beach Boat Ramp for an 8:00 AM launch and head out to the Mokulua Islands. Surfing not required, but those so inclined will get basic surf instruction and then practice with other experienced kayak surfers. If you are more adventurous, join Rusty on a paddle (weather permitting) out to the NOAA wave buoy (another 2 miles off-shore). Everyone meets back on the Mokes for lunch. If you don't have a good surf boat, contact the leaders in advance about borrowing one. Bring picnic snacks for lunch on the sand beach. No TVs or radios allowed!
